We believe we all have a responsibility to support the education of children, in whatever manner we can. We focus our consulting work on improving the organizations charged with educating students. But we also support non-profits that provide services to students outside the traditional classroom.

 

For 2011, we have selected the Literacy Council of Buncombe County, a non-profit organization accredited by ProLiteracy America and serving the community since 1987, providing highly individualized tutoring to fit the needs of over 300 students in North Carolina.

 

 

Past Recipients

 

In 2010, we selected Birthday Blessings, a Charlotte-based charity that provides birthday parties to children in homeless shelters (gifts include new books). We proudly presented a check in December to this organization.

 

 

 

In 2009, we presented a check to Burke County Literacy Council (NC), which provides family literacy to residents in the Morganton area.

 

 

In 2008, we were honored to present a check to Read Seed, a North Carolina organization. Read Seed provides books to children in public housing communities who might not otherwise have any.
